In this session participants will learn strategies to help students generate their own individual websites that can be used throughout the year to organize or showcase projects, respond to literature, build portfolios etc. We will explore the New Google Sites to get a feel for the process of structuring a website. Student examples, and strategies will be provided and discussed. Participants will experience how websites allow students to be more creative, enhancing the level of student engagement. We will also discuss a couple of different but valuable ways to collaborate and provide feedback to students. Participants should have a Google account, and have a laptop, or Chromebook. This session will be most appropriate for those new to New Google Sites, but who have some experience with of other Google apps, sharing and permissions.
